Primary Bathroom Overhaul
The primary bath got a MAJOR overhaul! The space isn’t huge, but I had a vision and I just knew I could make it work. It feels so much bigger now, but has a bathtub AND a shower. My biggest advice when doing a renovation is to stick to what you have a vision for - where there’s a will there’s a way! Can you even believe the before??
Here are a few of my favourite things in the bathroom:
Bathtub: I chose the ios matte white tub from Victoria + Albert and it’s one of my favourite spots in the house! It’s made from volcanic limestone so it can be chic and thin, but holds the heat. The straight sides means more room for tall people like us - if you have been following along when I revealed this space, then you know that I put in a LOT of research to make sure this tub would be comfy!
Chrome details: Hardware can make a big difference in a space, and the bathroom is no exception! You know I love my chrome, so I carried that into this room as well. The fixtures - from the sink and taps to the bathtub faucet and shower system - are all from Perrin & Rowe and really give the bathroom some sparkle. The traditional bathtub faucet is my absolute favourite. It’s a total showpiece!
Mosaic floors: The marble mosaic flooring from Euro Tile & Stone perfectly ties in all the colours in the room and adds an extra layer of luxury to the space. Bathroom flooring does NOT need to be boring. When I saw this design I gasped and knew it was perfect for this room! The marble shower walls are also from Euro Tile and Stone, which ensured a flawless match!
